Using recovery codes

Recovery codes are one-time use, and provide access to your account by skipping the second authentication factor step.

You should keep them in a safe place, the same way you keep a password. 

The backup codes are displayed at the end of the enabling multi-factor authentication procedure.

You can also view and manage them at any time in the Profile > Security section.

The platform allows a maximum of 16 concurrent recovery codes. If you have used recovery codes, you can have new codes generated, up to a maximum of 16, by clicking on the Generate recovery codes button.

To use a recovery code to log in to Cantook Hub, proceed as follows:

1. Enter your user name and password (or follow a login link received by email).

2. At the multi-factor authentication step, click on Use recovery code.

3. Enter one of your recovery codes, then click Continue to access your account.
